<p><strong>Gerald Coetzee Injury Update:</strong> South Africa have received a huge boost for their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign as Gerald Coetzee makes a return from injury into the side.</p> <p>The Proteas have announced the 12-man squad for the tri-series in Pakistan, and Gerald Coetzee has been included in the squad, confirmed Rob Walter, South Africa&rsquo;s white-ball coach.</p> <p>Pakistan will be hosting South Africa and New Zealand for a triangular series one week before the commencement of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, as all three sides are seeking much-needed game-time and practice for the mega event.</p> <p>Gerald Coetzee's return is a huge boost for the side, as his last performance in the sub-continent at an ICC mega event reeled-in rewards for South Africa, who were eliminated at the semi-final stage via eventual-winners Australia.</p> <p>The young pacer ended the tournament as the leading wicket-taker for the nation, with 20 wickets in 8 matches.</p> <p>The Temba Bavuma-led side can potentially hand debuts to six players in the 1st ODI.
