<p>India had a remarkable performance, boosting its medal tally to 15. Sumit Antil won gold in the men&rsquo;s javelin throw F64 with a new Paralympic record of 70.59 metres and para-shuttler Nitesh Kumar clinched gold in men&rsquo;s singles SL3, defeating Great Britain&rsquo;s Daniel Bethell. Yogesh Kathuniya secured a silver in men&rsquo;s discus throw F56, while shuttler Suhas Yathiraj also won silver in men&rsquo;s singles SL4. Shuttlers Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass took silver and bronze, respectively, in women&rsquo;s singles SU5. Additionally, archers Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar earned a bronze in the mixed team compound open event. Shuttler Nithya Sre ended the day on a high as she too bagged a bronze in the Women's Singles SH6 bronze medal match.</p> <p>On the sixth day of the Paris Paralympics 2024, India will look to replicate day 5&rsquo;s strong performance with key medal opportunities in para-shooting, para-archery and para-athletics.
