However, Shah did not disclose the name of Rahul Dravid's successor. India are slated to visit Sri Lanka for limited-overs</p> <p>It is widely anticipated that former opener Gautam Gambhir will take over from Rahul Dravid as India's head coach. The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) has conducted interviews for this prestigious role and has short-listed Gambhir along with former India women's coach W V Raman.</p> <h2><span style="color: #ba372a;"><strong>Two Names Shortlisted For India Head Coach Job: Jay Shah</strong></span></h2> <p>BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated to select media that appointments for both coach and selector will be finalised soon. The CAC has conducted interviews and shortlisted two candidates, and their decision upon returning to Mumbai will guide the final choice. Shah confirmed that VVS Laxman is heading to Zimbabwe, while the new coach will begin with the Sri Lanka series.</p> <p>"Both coach and selector appointment will be made shortly. CAC has interviewed and shortlisted two names and after reaching Mumbai whatever they have decided we will go by that.
