India and Pakistan renew their storied rivalry on Saturday, October 14 in Ahmedabad in the ODI World Cup 2023.
Shubman Gill, who was diagnosed with dengue before the commencement of the marquee event, has missed India's first couple of matches. While the Indian team travelled to Delhi to face Afghanistan, the Punjab batter stayed back in Chennai, where the 'Men in Blue' had faced Australia in their opening game, to receive further treatment. However, Indian fans will be happy to know that the youngster has reached Ahmedabad ahead of the much-awaited India-Pakistan clash.
The Pakistan team also reached Ahmedabad in the afternoon on Wednesday after spending a couple of weeks in Hyderabad.
