<p>The inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is heading towards an exciting second half. So far, just one team has managed to seal a place for themselves in the Playoffs and that is the Mumbai Indians who remain the only unbetean team in the competition with 5 out of 5 wins. On Thursday, the tournament saw second-placed Delhi Capitals lock horns with Gujarat Giants.<br /><br />While many would have prediced a Delhi win especially by the way they have dominated this season, barring their loss against Mumbai before this match, they fell to an 11-run loss against the Sneh Rana-led side. However, Delhi wouldn't be too bothered with their defeat as they are almost through to the business end of the competition.<br /><br />Ashleigh Gardner was the star of the match for Gujarat, chipping in both with the bat and ball, scoring a half-century before coming back and picking 2 wickets for 19 runs.
